Although a lot of WWE fans want to see it happen, Samoa Joe would ‘hate’ to be in a stable with Roman Reigns and The Usos just because of their ‘cultural heritage’.

Since their return to the ring a couple of weeks ago, The Usos have been teaming up with Roman Reigns and helping him out in his battles against King Corbin and others on SmackDown.

Over the past couple of weeks as well on Raw, Samoa Joe has transitioned from heel to face, teaming up with Kevin Owens to take down Seth Rollins, Buddy Murphy, and the AOP.

This is a full face turn for Joe, but last year during his storyline with Reigns, he came close to turning face then, and at one point, it looked like he would join forces with The Big Dog.

The Submission Machine was involved in a storyline where Reigns was attacked by a mysterious superstar and Roman was trying to figure out who it was.

Speaking to Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT about the storyline and possibly teaming up with Reigns, Joe said he would gel and work well with Reigns and The Usos, but he doesn't want to team up with them just because they have the same cultural heritage.

The Destroyer said: "I think it kind of just unfolded the way it did. Obviously, there’s always these thoughts, but yeah, I don’t think there really were [any other plans].

"I mean, yeah. I think the same thing could be said for The Usos, we definitely probably could gel and it would work out well, but at the same time, we’re all real individual personalities and I’d hate to be grouped with a bunch of people just because we share the same cultural heritage. That’s weird, in this day and age."

Joe continued: "We’re all pretty awesome. But it’s not like we’ve got nothing else in common except for one glaring, obvious thing. Why do you want to group us into a group together?

"Everyone really wants to do that. Everyone wants us in a group together so we’re easily identifiable or something, I don’t know! [laughs]."

A stable of Reigns, Joe and The Usos would be awesome and fans would love it, but it sounds like Joe would need an incredible storyline to go along with it if we are to see it form in the WWE.
