Most likely even to Mainz".Klopp also hinted that he may take a sabbatical after leaving Liverpool, admitting he’d like to “do nothing for a year”.p1ed3du5jf1u6v9qbg4ejs91dd7b.jpgHe then confirmed that he may be interested in returning to management, although added that retirement could be an option."In five years the world can look very different again,” he said. While four years is relatively far away, Liverpool fans - and you can certainly forgive them for feeling this way - are still feeling a little panicky after hearing Klopp’s admission.Let’s check out some of the reaction from social media…

Klopp signed his current Liverpool contract in December 2019 but hinted at a future sabbatical in an interview with Kicker magazine.

"I have absolute energy. But I have one problem. I can't do 'a little bit'. I can only do 'all or nothing'.

"When I decide that I cannot do it any longer then I will take a break for a year."

First of all, Liverpool fans, remember that things can change very quickly in football.

Perhaps he’ll reach the end of his current deal and realise that, actually, staying put at Anfield makes more sense than a return to Germany.

Or, who knows, he might even leave before 2024.

If Claudio Ranieri can get sacked less than a year after guiding Leicester City to the Premier League title then it’s safe to assume that anything - and everything - is possible in football.

If anything, this news about Klopp should be viewed as a positive by Liverpool fans.

They can rest safe in the knowledge that arguably the world’s best coach intends to stick around for at least four more years.

And with Klopp at the helm, the Merseyside outfit are almost guaranteed to win more silverware over the coming seasons.
